Embrace Your Element of Power: the Fire Element

rise as the Phoenix in your fire

Are you feeling not in your power lately?  Lacking the courage to do what you know you need to for your business, relationships or life choices?  Perhaps, going through a lot of transitions in your life?

Tapping into the Fire element can be one way to refocus your inner light, your determination and power or aid you in purifying the past and giving your the hope and fortitude to create a new future.

What is the Fire element: it’s role in my life journey

Fire - power and passion.  Destruction, purification and rebirth.  Fire is a powerful element, representing the strength, power and determination of our inner light while also the depiction of hope in its ability to destroy, purify while those powers in itself allow for rebirth.

The image of the Phoenix burning, purifying itself and dying, only to be reborn from the ashes speaks of the power and eternity that is fire.

When we apply it to ourselves, even when things in our lives are being shredded or drastically changed, it makes room for healing, growth and a rebirth.  The eternal flame of hope that keeps us pushing on despite our losses.  During that transformation, the other aspects of fire are what fuels us - will, determination and passion.  There is no question as to the power and magnificence of the element of fire.  For women, it is considered tapping into the masculine side of our strength.  Confidence, boldness, fearlessness, assertiveness… all come from our masculine energy and fire is where it is at.

How to Light your Fire: Tapping into the fire element

But how do we tap into this element and harness it in our life?  Here are a few ways:

  • Write and Burn:  When we write about our emotions and struggles, we give voice to our inner selves.  Sometimes our inner self needs to move on, be let go of to the Universe.  Writing your thought down on paper and burning the paper can be a powerful way to release negative feelings and invite in transformation.

  • Wear Red:  The color red in associated with passion, energy and power.  Wearing red or incorporating it into your environment, is an easy way to subtly tap into the fire element and help you feel more powerful, passionate, and confident in our lives.

  • Meditate with Fire:  Fire can be a powerful tool the help you set your intentions for creativity, courage and vitality.  Focus on your Solar Plexus chakra to help fuel your transformation.  You can also light a candle and place your hands in a triangle position with fingertips facing upwards, which is associated with the spirit element of fire.

  • Transformation is a journey.  One that requires will, determination and passion.  Fire element, when handled respectfully, can be an excellent element to tap into to burn away what no longer serves you and activate or reinforce your inner strength, passion and create renewal.

  • Sit facing in the southern direction and meditate your intentions

Becoming comfortable with our own fire is a journey and one that can seem very daunting.  Naturally, fire creates a fear reaction in us. Yet, people harnessed the used of fire thousands of years ago.  We can learn to respect it by learning to use it.

Fear is strong power that can put your life on hold and can give others power over you.  The Fire element is a counter to that fear.  Find your courage, face your fear and fuel yourself with the fire element.

That is why I am offering the rare opportunity to take part in a Fire Walk, taught by a fire walking expert.  With support, we spend 2 - 3 hours sorting out our core fears that we want to give up to the fire and have purged from your heart and spirit.  Then, still with continued support and cheers, you can choose to do the Fire Walk.  A walk that is the culmination of releasing your fears to greater triumph.  Even if you don’t do the walk, it is still an amazing event to move you forward,  learn about the fire element and how to use it in your journey and the amazing benefits.  Visit my events page if you are interested in more information by using the link in this newsletter.
