Clairvoyance: How does clear seeing show up and how can you develop it?
The oracle card from Jamie Roth’s Oracle Deck that calls on us to practice your clairvoyance
Clairvoyance- also known as “clear seeing,” is the Intuitive skill that harnesses visual experiences. This can come through mental movies, momentary imagery, colors appearing during meditation and energy work. It can be seeing auras (the energy field around humans) and more. It’s an internal vision, like a mind screen often coming through vivid dreams, symbolic imagery, or flashes of insight that arrive without warning.
Clairvoyance is also the intuitive skill involved in predicting the future or seeing spirits.
In my own healing work, I’ve witnessed countless people awaken this gift—sometimes unexpectedly! A color they keep seeing, a visual flash during meditation, or even a persistent image during a session that won’t go away. When we lean into these moments, we start to decode a language beyond words.
I always listen to clients as they speak to hear what words they use when describing life, communication and particularly what they experience in meditation and energy work. When they can describe a visual picture, I suspect they may be tapped into Clairvoyance.
Here’s what clairvoyance might look like in your life:
You visualize solutions or images that later come true.
You have strong mental pictures during meditation or daydreaming.
You "see" a loved one’s emotion, energy, or inner child.
You get symbolic images during moments of deep feeling.
Want to Practice Your Clairvoyance? Start Here:
Meditate with Your Third Eye in Mind
Find a quiet space, close your eyes, and bring your attention to the area between your eyebrows in the middle of your forehead. Breathe deeply. Imagine a soft light glowing there. Don’t force any images—just observe whatever arises. Growing any skill begins with awareness, not answers. And the more awareness you gain, starts to lead to insight and connections of understanding. So I always encourage focusing first on awareness of the sense you’re working with.Use Visual Triggers
Gaze at clouds, candle flames, or abstract art. These can loosen your logical mind and invite intuitive images to emerge. Ask a question silently, then relax and notice what forms.Record Your Imagery
After meditation or intuitive moments, jot down what you saw. Even if it doesn’t make sense at first, patterns often reveal themselves over time. This helps build trust in your inner vision.Work with Symbols
Clairvoyant messages are often symbolic. If you see a wolf, a doorway, or a color—ask yourself, What does this mean to me? Let your own wisdom guide you. If you get imagery that doesn’t elicit an understanding, you can use a search engine to ask: “What is the spiritual meaning of….” However, make sure to always continue to think/feel/see and discern for yourself. Don’t read what someone else wrote and automatically apply that as THE meaning. Read several articles with suggestions and see if any resonate with you. And with the practice of awareness, over time you can figure out how the symbolic imagery applies specifically to you.Practice seeing Auras.
Ask a friend to stand against a wall, (preferably light colored such as white or gray), and stare at their forehead. Allow your eyes to soften in gaze. They may get cloudy, and it’s fine to blink a lot. As your eyes soften, begin to notice an outline around your friend. It may appear as a white light. It may turn into a color, or several. Notice how bright or dim it is, what the colors are, and how far off the body it glows.
The more you soften and play with your inner sight, the more confident and connected you become.
Your inner sight is already active..
With love and Intuition,
