Has it felt as if you have received more inspiration, messages and spiritual awareness in the last couple weeks? This may be due to the Lion’s Gate Portal which started on July 26th and continues until August 12 with the culmination achieved on August 8th - yes the date 8/8 - adding even more meaning and impact to this event.

What is the Lion’s Gate portal? The Lion’s Gate portal is the astrological event where Sirius, the brightest start in the sky, is closest to the Earth and aligns with sun in Leo. Leo of course being the constellation represented by the Lion.
Sirius is linked to our higher spiritual aspirations and our spirit’s karmic journey. Whereas the Sun is related to our ego, identity, sense of purpose and discovering where we can “shine” in our life journey. When Sirius and the Sun combine, it is believed that our life path can be clarified by having a light shown on it allowing us to reach higher or optimal spiritual growth. The alignment is said to create a portal where we receive Light Codes - messages, inspiration, fortunate meetings with helpers, and activations of our energy. This then can lead to healing, manifestation and enlightenment, as well as broaden our spiritual awareness to step up in our consciousness.
The importance of 8/8 during the Lion’s Gate
This year, 2024, this enlightenment reaches its culmination on 8/8 and eight is the number of good luck and good fortune. This date also becomes the Galactic New Year and many believe the Light Codes are the strongest. This is our greatest opportunity to shed and purge the old and embrace a new way of living and being in the world.
This time would be the time to pay attention and look for synchronicities, messages, uncommon meetings and opportunities and look deeper for meanings. Even your overall energy levels could be leading you toward a more spiritual outlook.
